Obama Trailing Romney In Latest Rasmussen Poll

The wheels are falling off the bus of the Obama campaign. I think Romney has a great chance of being elected this November.


WASHINGTON (CBSDC) — President Obama is lagging behind Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney in a new poll.

The latest Rasmussen Reports presidential poll shows Romney with a 47 to 44 percent lead over Obama. The president has been hammered by Republicans recently after saying that the private sector is “doing fine” despite the unemployment rate rising last month.

The Rasmussen poll shows that Romney holds a commanding 49 to 42 percent lead over Obama in Missouri, a state the president narrowly lost to Sen. John McCain in 2008. Both are tied in Colorado and Virginia.

Obama is also not getting backing from the public for his health care law. The poll shows that 53 percent of voters favor a repeal of Obamacare, compared to 39 percent that oppose the Supreme Court repealing the law. The Supreme Court is expected to issue a ruling later this month.
